It’s picnic time! We’d be honored if you’d join us for a Picnic at Patrick Marsh with this year’s Prairie Partners crew.
The five students that make up the Prairie Partners intern crew this year are excited to share with you their experiences and show off their hard work. We will also recognize the sponsors that made this year’s crew possible.
As part of the Prairie Partners program, Groundswell has this group of interns every Monday at either Patrick Marsh or Westport Prairie. The crew’s efforts are transforming these two special places while giving them incredible hands-on field experience.
Thanks to this year’s picnic sponsors, Mark Smith & Dan Rigney, we’ll provide a brown bag lunch from Marigold Kitchen. You just need to bring a blanket or chair to sit on. (There is no restroom on site.)
The walk from the trail entrance to the picnic site is ~1/2 mile. After lunch, we’ll take a walk with the interns to see the results of their restoration efforts at this natural gem.
Registration: When you sign-up below, you will be asked to select your choice of sandwich. Please sign-up by Wednesday, July 13th.
