As our Development Coordinator, Liz creates, renews, and strengthens relationships with supporters who make our conservation work possible. She loves hearing donors’ stories – why they give, which places are special to them, and how they connect with nature.
Liz earned her B.A. in English from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. Before joining Groundswell, she was a medical editor in pharmaceutical research for five years. In 2015, she moved to the nonprofit sector and worked as a grant writer at the International Crane Foundation, mainly focused on Whooping Crane conservation.
Liz, her husband Sam, and their rescue beagle Ramona love exploring local hiking spots together. She enjoys reading, writing, cooking, yoga, and tending her plants.
