As administrative assistant, Jen makes sure our bills are paid on time, our donors and volunteers have positive and meaningful experiences, and our events run smoothly. She loves working with people to address their needs – and being in nature, where she finds peace and comfort.
Jen earned her B.S. in Meteorology from Northern Illinois University. Before joining Groundswell, she served as accounting and administrative assistant for Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish in Madison. Prior to that, she was an air quality and environmental consultant and worked as an air dispersion modeler for the Iowa Department of Natural Resources’ Air Quality Bureau.
Jen and her husband Jim are both avid runners and love exploring parks and wilderness areas. She also enjoys hiking, fishing, cooking, baking, reading and gardening
