Food AND nature, what a combo! Join Groundswell Conservancy and neighbors of Patrick Marsh on Thursday, June 2 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. for an evening on the land.
Purchase your food and find a spot to settle in to enjoy the picturesque setting of Patrick Marsh with friends and neighbors. Then walk the trails of this special place to explore the prairie, savanna, and marsh.
This is also a great chance to meet our new Executive Director Angela West Blank! She’d love to connect with you out on the land and learn why local conservation matters to you.
Food carts include: Jolly Frog Mexican Food Cart and Roche’s Taste of Chicago. Plus Jakarta Cafe will sell ice cream rolls and fruit smoothies.
Where: South entrance of Patrick Marsh (1048 Derby Dr, Sun Prairie, WI). **Food carts will be parked along Derby Drive.** (NOTE: This is NOT happening at the Patrick Marsh parking lot on the north side off Stone Quarry Rd.)
What to bring: Cash for food, blanket or camp chairs, and sturdy shoes if you plan to walk the trails. Depending on the weather, sunscreen and bug spray are recommended.
Registration: Entry to this event is free. Food and beverages are available for purchase. All are welcome to attend, but registration is encouraged so we know how many people to expect.
