In 1832, the Historic Indian Agency House was constructed at a dynamic crossroads of geography, culture, and history. Join Groundswell for a tour of this important historic landmark and explore the surrounding land that Groundswell helped protect in 2014. Tony Abate, Conservation Director, will lead an easy 1-mile nature walk while Adam Novey, Executive Director of the Agency House, will lead a house tour.
Schedule:
1:15 pm Half of the field trip group will tour the house for 1 hour while the other half takes the nature walk.
2:15 pm The groups switch, so everyone has an opportunity to tour the house AND walk the trail.
3:15 – 3:30 pm Refreshments and socializing.
