Come learn about Ho-Chunk tradition from Bill Quackenbush, Tribal Historic Preservation Officer. Bill will lead us on a tour of a site important to the Ho-Chunk people: Kingsley Bend mounds. The tribal government is in the midst of inspiring cultural preservation and restoration work. The tour includes some easy hiking along asphalt and mowed paths. We will be going rain or shine, so be sure to check the weather in advance, bring shoes you aren’t afraid to get muddy, and a rain jacket, if needed.
Space on the tour is limited to 30 people and we will be reserving space on a first come, first serve basis. So sign up today using the form below to hold your spot. We look forward to seeing you there!
